I wouldn't necessary call this a diet. It is just eating healthy. And only eating healthy. Fruits, vegetables, and meat. No bread, only healthy carbs. And definitely NO processed foods. I plan on posting more about HOW BAD processed foods are for you. Its terrifying how incredibly bad some of our "healthier" foods are. I am all about organic and all natural and ALL local produce, dairy and meat.
I am just beginning my journey to becoming paleo. I tried to cut carbs and all processed foods in January and was hit with massive migraines, my anxiety was worse, and I almost killed Ahryon for a cookie. (It was bad ya'll.) I have been reading up on it more since that terribly day where I almost ate a whole package of Oreos. There are ways to ease into paleo. And they encourage a rare cheats. (Thank god.) Instead, I am starting slow and see where it takes me. It helps that Ahryon is doing Paleo and has been for almost 3 months, so I know how to cook for it. And it helps that some of my closest friends are doing it as well.
Did you know that as much as 90% of published medical information that doctors rely on is flawed? Sickening. I'm sure you have heard about the pink slime in our beef. Believe me, that is just the beginning of what our government allows. Every heard of GMO's? or GM's? SO BAD FOR YOU.
